Austin Statesman Street Cam At Tidbits Party

The Austin Tidbits Party was so rockin I forgot to take pics. Fortunately the Austin Statesman got a great Pic of Amanda Brown, who is a talented gal from Spruce!
Here is part of the inverview in the Statesman
STYLE Street Cam: Amanda BrownThursday, April 23, 2009 Her height wasn't the only thing that made 27-year-old Amanda Brown stand out from a crowd of fashionable women at Sanctuary boutique: Her simple style and bright pink dress propelled her above the masses. The owner of Spruce, a furniture shop that specializes in redesigns, is often found in jeans and cowboy boots rolling up her sleeves to reupholster furniture. We caught her freshly changed into a J. Crew dress, Faryl Robin heels and a Michael Kors watch.

Austin Settings

Rebecca and I had an early morning getting our table top ready for Austin Settings!
( please excuse the bizzare early morning hairdo!)
The tables were amazing.... creative and beautiful. Ill try to take some pics tonight. Im heading to the preview party tonight to represent Sanctuary and LD Design.

TREAT!

My friends over At LD Design have a new sweet spot worthy of a daily stop off. First of all, airstreams are rad and a person should take every possible opportunity to hang out in one. Second of all, what could better, local coffee and local treats from local artists. Lauren and Rebecca of LD Design are of course the brains behind the fabulous botanical art at the store and Josh Frank is a real life author who wrote In Heaven Everything is Fine. Love Love love it.

New Favorite Gals.. Spruce Home

I found this cool shop on Etsy a while back and loved it but then of course in typical fashion never followed up. Then Tidbits sent out an article about them and I thought I better call them now! Lets than 24 hours later Sanctuary is the temporary home to the cutest butterfly chairs ever.
First of all their furniture is high quality and hard work. I know because I spent the better part of a day taking apart a chair I bought thinking, " No problem I can redo this". Needless to say, by the end of the day it was taken apart and in the trash. From now on I am leaving my furniture updating to experts.. or taking one of their classes!
Check out these chair and drool... or better yet take them to your home.
