A couple of years ago my husband and I built a house in Marble Falls, a beautiful town where most of my extended family lives. The house is on an amazing cul de sac lot with tons of trees and a giant porch. We created an open plan kitchen with a 10 foot bar that is perfect for entertaining. The entire house is stained concrete and has windows in both the front and back that open to create a lovely breeze, allowing it stay cooler in the summer. While we loved the house we missed our friends and living in Austin. Now we live in an adorable 1920 home in Westlake that was featured in Austin monthly Home.
